Seven Distinctive Home Designs
Choose an opening experience that reflects your creative style. Axevia includes seven home designs featuring WebGL effects, expressive typography and different visual compositions.
- Image Particles — Transform your photograph into thousands of interactive points that scatter around the cursor and settle back into place. Click to switch between multiple photos.
- CRT Portrait — Give your portrait a retro digital character with CRT-inspired shaders, glitch effects, scanlines and chromatic separation.
- Orbit — Display a point-cloud portrait that gently disperses and reforms in a repeating animation.
- Globe — Create a typography-led introduction with a rotating sphere made from words, without needing a central image.
- Four — Combine the word globe with an editorial text column and a halftone portrait.
- Five — Present the particle hero within a lighter, more spacious interface.
- Immersive — Showcase the original immersive home scene at the heart of Axevia.
When multiple home designs are published, an on-page switcher lets visitors explore them. When only one design is published, the switcher is hidden automatically.
Interactive 3D Project Showcase
Give your work a dedicated stage with an endless 3D project index. A numbered navigation rail tracks the current position and lets visitors jump directly to a project. Each card supports a thumbnail, description and tags, with an optional muted video preview that plays on hover.
Detailed Project & Case-Study Pages
Explain the thinking behind your work with individual project pages at /projects/your-project/. Each page is assembled from the content fields you complete, helping you present project context, responsibilities and creative outcomes in a consistent layout.
- Project details: Type, year, platform, role, client and timeline.
- Project overview: Introduce the work and its purpose.
- Video panel: Showcase motion, interactions or a project walkthrough.
- Four numbered case-study sections: Structure your project story.
- Gallery band: Present supporting project imagery.
- Next-project navigation: Encourage visitors to continue exploring.
Optional sections remain hidden when their corresponding fields are left empty.
Editorial Blog & Reading Experience
Share ideas, insights and updates through an editorial blog grid. The latest post receives a full-width presentation, while subtle image movement and in-place category filtering support browsing.
- A sticky table of contents generated from article headings.
- An estimated reading time.
- A reading progress indicator.
- A styled WordPress comment section.
- Content management through standard WordPress posts.
Essential Pages Included
- About: Introduce yourself with a scroll-driven layout, animated portrait, facts strip, principle cards and grouped technology stack.
- Contact: Receive enquiries through a built-in contact form without requiring a separate form plugin.
- Message management: View saved submissions in the WordPress dashboard and receive email notifications. Saved messages remain accessible if notification emails are not delivered.
- 404: Help visitors find their way with navigation generated from your site’s pages.
- Page URL redirects: Help preserve existing links when page slugs change.
- Plain layout: Present privacy policies, terms, search results and archives using consistent typography and colours.
Centralized Theme Customization
Manage theme settings through the Axevia Home admin screen, organized into clear sections with helpful field descriptions. Customize the theme’s predefined layouts without a page builder dependency, while managing blog posts and project content through their respective editing areas.
More than 100 settings cover colours, eight text-size controls, branding, the ticker, the statistics panel, navigation and page text. Settings with built-in defaults fall back to those values when left empty.
Responsive Layouts & Considered Motion
- Responsive presentation: Layouts adapt to desktop, tablet and mobile screens, with a full-screen navigation panel on smaller devices.
- Adaptive particle effects: WebGL scenes reduce particle counts on smaller screens.
- Reduced-motion support: Animation loops stop for visitors who enable their system’s reduced-motion preference.
- WebGL fallback: When WebGL is unavailable, the canvas is hidden while essential text, navigation, contact details and links remain accessible.
- Hidden-tab pause: Scene rendering pauses when the browser tab is hidden.
Developer-Friendly Foundation
