Goyard is a hotel and resort booking WordPress theme with a real reservation engine behind it, for hotels, resorts, villas, apartments and homestays. Many themes sold as “hotel booking” ones only give you an enquiry form in your inbox. Here the guest sees available rooms, selects the dates and completes the booking directly on your site, with no booking commission charged by the theme.
The engine is the JWS Hotel Booking plugin, built by the same team as the theme. Guests pick a rate package, apply a coupon and pay by Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer or cash on arrival. From the Booking System menu you confirm bookings, take the check-in, email invoices and read revenue and occupancy reports.
Pages are built with Elementor, with one-click demo import, a header and footer builder, WooCommerce, Redux theme options and a child theme.

BOOKING ENGINE
The JWS Hotel Booking plugin is included in the download and installs with the theme. It adds these content types to WordPress: hotels, rooms, rate packages, room options, packages & offers, services, stories and nearby places. Hotels and rooms are organised with their own taxonomies for hotel category, hotel brand, hotel facility, hotel location, room category, room characteristic and room option.
- Live availability: room availability is calculated for the selected date range to help prevent overlapping bookings.
- Stay rules: minimum and maximum nights per room and per date range.
- Destination search: a search form with destination autocomplete, date picker and guest or room count, placed on any page with the Search Room widget or the [jwshb_hotel_search] shortcode.
- Booking form: the [jwshb_booking] shortcode places the full booking flow on any page, including the room list, extras, guest details and payment step.
- Room options and extras: breakfast, extra bed, airport transfer or anything you define, priced per stay or per night.
- Packages & offers: promotional packages with their own page, gallery and price, listed by the Offers widget.
RATES AND PRICING
- Rates Overview: a calendar grid of every room and every date, so you can see and edit the price of a single night without leaving the screen.
- Rate Packages: room only, breakfast included, half board or any package you create, each with its own price and cancellation text.
- Special Pricing: date-range prices for high season, holidays and weekends, applied on top of the base rate.
- Tax Rates: percentage or fixed tax per hotel, shown as a separate line on the booking summary and the invoice.
- Coupons: percentage or fixed discount codes with usage limits and expiry dates.
- Multi-currency: add any number of currencies with their own exchange rate, symbol, symbol position and flag image. Guests switch currency in the header and see prices converted across the whole site.
PAYMENTS
- Stripe: card payment through the Stripe Payment Intents API, taken on your own site.
- PayPal: PayPal order and capture, live or sandbox.
- WooCommerce: send the booking through WooCommerce checkout instead, so it goes to any gateway you already have installed.
- Bank transfer: your account details are shown on the confirmation screen and repeated in the confirmation email.
- Cash on arrival: hold the room and collect payment at the front desk.
- Payment surcharge: add a surcharge to a payment method and show it as its own line on the booking summary.
- Auto-confirm: decide per payment method whether a booking is confirmed automatically or waits for your approval.
BOOKING MANAGEMENT
Everything below is inside the Booking System menu in wp-admin. No spreadsheet, no external tool.
- Dashboard: today’s arrivals and departures, room status, recent bookings and revenue at a glance.
- Bookings: filter by status, hotel, room or date, open a booking to edit dates, guests, extras and prices, then confirm, cancel or mark it as checked in and checked out.
- Booking Table: a month view of every room against every date, useful for spotting free nights.
- Transactions: every payment attempt with its method, amount, status and gateway reference.
- Customers: guest records with contact details and booking history.
- Invoices: generate an invoice for any booking, print it, save it as PDF, email it to the guest or export a set of invoices to CSV.
- Reports: revenue and occupancy by date range, by hotel and by room type, with CSV export.
- Task Manager: scheduled jobs for reminder emails and automatic invoice generation.
GUEST ACCOUNT AND NOTIFICATIONS
- My Bookings: the [jwshb_my_bookings] shortcode gives guests a page where they look up a booking, see its status and download the invoice.
- PIN login: a guest opens their booking with the email address and a PIN sent to them, so no account registration is needed.
- Email notifications: booking confirmation, cancellation, invoice, PIN and admin alert, each with its own subject and body, an editable header colour, logo and footer text.
- SMS notifications: booking confirmation, PIN and admin alert by SMS through Twilio. A Twilio account is required and is not included.

- Elementor: every demo page is built with the free Elementor plugin and is editable by drag and drop.
- Hotel widgets for Elementor: Search Room, Rooms, Room Showcase, Offers, Services, Services Hover, Hotel Nearby, Hotel Review, Hotel Stories, Brand Slider, Weather, Vertical Slide Video and Icon Box.

FOR DEVELOPERS
- A child theme is included in the download package, ready to activate.
- Booking templates are overridable the WooCommerce way: copy a template from the plugin into your theme folder and edit the copy, so an update does not delete your changes. The list of overridable templates is in the documentation.
- Theme styles are written in LESS with the source files included.
- Theme functions, classes and hooks are prefixed, so they do not collide with plugins.
